Niagara Icewine Festival Overview:
The Niagara Icewine Festival is an annual 10-day celebration of icewine. Special wine-tasting events take place across the region and wineries are pouring plenty of their finest.

Icewine is a sweet dessert wine produced using grapes frozen on the vine and Canada is the world's largest icewine producer.

When: Friday, January 16 - Sunday, January 25, 2009
Where: Various wineries and locations in the Niagara Falls region. See maps
Cost: Cost is per event. People planning to attend many of the events may benefit from buying the Icewine Discovery Passport.
NIAGARA ICEWINE FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS:
The 10-day festival has a wide range of icewine-related events planned.
Xerox "Images of Winter" Icewine Evening:
The festival kicks off with a gala evening of dinner and Canadian wines at the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel in Niagara Falls.
When: Jan 16th, 2009
Cost: Cdn$175 per person
Wine Tastings at Participating Wineries:
During the festival, wineries open their doors and pour some of their finest icewines and other vintages.
Where: Wineries across the Niagara Wine Region
Cost: $5 seems to be the most common price, but cost varies depending on the winery. Discounts or complimentary tastings are available to Icewine Discovery Passport holders.
