Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory - A Visitors Guide

Top 10 Niagara Falls Attractions | Niagara Falls Travel Guide | Find a Niagara Falls Hotel

The Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls is an indoor attraction that allows visitors to wander amongst recreated tropical conditions in which more than 2,000 butterflies fly freely. The conservatory also has educational displays and film. This attraction is especially good for families with kids under 14. Children are in awe of so many colourful butterflies, some of which will land on you - and the conservatory's location within the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens offers up plenty of green space for kids to run around.

Where is the Butterfly Conservatory?

The Butterfly Conservatory is on the outskirts of downtown Niagara Falls (i.e. about a 10 min drive from the Niagara Fallsview Casino or the Maid of the Mist entrance) on the grounds of Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens at 2405 Niagara Parkway.

Visitors wishing to include the Butterfly Conservatory as part of their Niagara Falls itinerary may start their day at the conservatory, take advantage of the free parking and then take the People Mover bus to the Falls and back.
