Free Spectacular Light Show Every Evening in Niagara Falls from Nov - Jan:

From the beginning of November until the first week of January, the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights is a spectacular lightshow that includes an illuminated 5-km route of lighted displays, fireworks over the falls and more, including concerts and children's performances.

All the light shows are free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.

Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights Location & Dates:

Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights takes place from the beginning of November to the end of January.

Most of events take place in the heart of Niagara Falls adjacent to the Falls themselves and near to the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort

Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland:

A beautifully decorated five-kilometre route stretching from Dufferin Islands along the Niagara Parkway, adjacent to Niagara Falls, past the Rainbow Bridge, to Whirlpool Bridge is known as the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland. It includes nearly two million lights and over 100 lighting displays, including:

  • Enchantment of Disney, featuring Walt Disney classics,
  • The world's largest animated Canadian-American Flag display,
  • Twas the Night Before Christmas audio-visual display,
  • Menorah Display.

Fireworks over the Falls:

Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display over the mighty Niagara Falls every Friday evening at 9 pm. See fireworks schedule. A special New Year's Eve illumination occurs on December 31.

Candlelight Stroll:

Join the guided stroll on River Road (date to be announced) past magnificently lit Victorian homes and B&Bs dressed for the season. Enjoy choirs, chorale singers, roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate. Bring your letter to Santa to drop into the official North Pole letter box. It doesn't get much more Christmas-y than this, and the kids love it!

Shuttle Tours of the Niagara Winter Festival of Lights:

If you're not up to walking the whole Niagara Winter Festival of Lights route, consider a shuttle tour of the event. Ask at the information booth or your hotel for details.

The Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort:

One of Niagara Falls' biggest draws is the Niagara Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort. With a hotel, restaurants, live entertainment, spa and casino, the Niagara Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort tends to be the heart of the action.
