- Ontario Family Day at the Toronto Zoo.
- Open house at Fort York.
- Family Fun Fair at Rogers Centre is a 3-day indoor amusement park.
- HarbourKids at Harbourfront presents SK8, which explores all forms of skating and winter culture from a kid's perspective.
- The PawsWay Pet Discovery Centre at the Harbourfront includes the Purina Hall of Fame, canine sports demos, face-painting, balloon artists, prizes and games! Free admission.
- Free outdoor skating at Toronto's City Hall and Harbourfront Centre complete with music and rink-side hot chocolate.
- Family programming at the Royal Ontario Museum
- Casa Loma has family programming on all weekend and Monday, Feb. 20. Requires registration and payment.
- Riverdale Farm is open every day, year-round and is free.
- Family Day Weekend at the Ontario Science Centre
- The CN Tower Celebrates Family Day with Special Admission Offer.
- The Art Gallery of Ontario, which is usually closed Mondays will open Family Day and offer special programming aimed at families.
- Shopping malls: Eaton Centre, Vaughn Mills, Pacific Mall, Woodbine Centre are all open
- Family Movement Workshops with the National Ballet of Canada: February 20, free, but requires registration.
- Most of Toronto's Top Attractions will be open on Family Day. Check websites for details.
- The Markham Museum Winterfest has winter activities and refreshments.
- Family Day Fest is an indoor "fun zone" geared towards children under 12. The annual event features rides, bouncy castles, obstacle courses, arcade games, games and other entertainment.
Out of Town
- Family Day at Ontario Parks offers rinks, midnight skis and paths to enjoy.
- Halton Conservation in the Bulington/Milton area has a Snowflakes and Snowsnakes Festival, wagon rides, skiing and more.
- Snowfest Caledon activities include snowshoeing, dog sledding, skating, sleigh rides, ice sculptures and snow castle competitions, plus a special winter 'Chilly' cook-off.
