Family Day 2009 is Monday, February 16. Plenty of parents will be looking around for things to do. If you're in Toronto on Family Day, consider the following activities:
  • Ontario Family Day at the Toronto Zoo - half price admission for everyone, 9:30am to 3:30pm.
  • Family Day Long Weekend at the ROM - Hands-on crafts and activities for the whole family with regular admission. February 14 - Monday February 16.
  • Riverdale Farm is open every day, year-round and is free.
  • Ontario Science Centre Sleepovers - Learn about the night sky and astronomy, plus a DJ/PJ party. February 14, 4:30 pm to February 15, 10 am.
  • Sponge Bob and Patrick will be at the CN Tower on Family Day. Buy one admission package and get another one free. See CN Towerfor details.
  • The Markham Winter Carnival has winter activities and food from 10 am - 4 pm. Admission, $2.
  • PawsWay at the Harbourfront is a pet discovery centre, including the Purina Hall of Fame. Come Family Day 1 - 6 pm. Free admission.
  • Free events and performances at the Walter Carsen Centre for the National Ballet of Canada, February 16 at 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
