A small percentage of wine producers operate outside of BC and Ontario - mainly in Quebec and Nova Scotia. Quebec has over 30 wineries and Nova Scotia just under; combined these two province produce less than 3% of Canada's total wine output. The grape growing regions in these provinces are located in popular tourist destinations and thus make an excellent addition to a visitor's itinerary, whether for an extended wine-tasting vacation or day trip.
