Vancouver Island BC

Vancouver Island BC Basics

BC at a Glance | Whistler Travel Guide | Top Vancouver Attractions

Vancouver Island is an island just off mainland British Columbia, Canada's most western province. Vancouver Island is home to the provincial capital Victoria, but not home to the popular city of Vancouver, which is on the BC mainland.

Vancouver Island has attracted artists, craftspeople, nature lovers and other people seeking a less hectic pace of life. Visitors will notice fewer people with cellphones glued to their heads and the overall friendliness of the island's residents.
