Jane McLean is a writer, teacher and self-proclaimed “hoser.”

Experience:

Jane McLean works as a freelance writer in Dundas, Ontario. After many years in corporate communications, Jane taught Language Studies at Mohawk College. She has also taught English as a Second Language both overseas and at home.

When not exploring the English language, Jane enjoys exploring her country. She has travelled Canada from coast to coast and is working on discovering more of its endless and enjoyable nooks and crannies.

Jane lived in and travelled Asia for several years in the late 90s, but is firmly replanted in Canada with her husband and two daughters.

Education:

Jane received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Art History from McMaster University. She also completed studies in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language).

From Jane McLean:

Canada is such an ideal place because of the range of its offerings. It has hiking and mountain biking trails, campsites and breathtaking vistas to fill a lifetime. But throw in towns and cities that compete with any in the world in terms of sophistication and interest, and you have a travel destination to suit any taste.
