Looking Good for 142

This Wednesday, July 1, 2009, Canada turns 142.

Canada Day is celebrated every July 1st, when across the country, people chill beer, prepare burgers for the barbecue and otherwise get ready to party with friends to celebrate Canada's birthday. Canada Day celebrations also include parades and firework displays.

Ottawa has the biggest Canada Day celebration, that starts with a parade, includes an RCMP musical ride, concerts, and caps off with a fireworks display.
