Maple Syrup Festivals in Canada

Monday March 10, 2008
Maple Syrup Festivals in Canada are a sure sign that spring is on its way.

With the warmer weather that March and April bring, maple syrup producers are starting to gather the sap from their maple trees and begin the process of converting it to the sweet sticky condiment.

Visitors flock to these farms at this time to watch or take part in the maple syrup making process. Most farms and sugar shacks have a fun range of activities for kids, including sleigh rides, snow taffy making, crafts and of course maple syrup sampling.
