Tsunami Sushi, Vancouver
Sunday May 20, 2007
Having lived in Tokyo for four years and had sushi made by the masters, I'm constantly on the lookout for great sushi here in Canada. I knew the Japanese delicacy would be abundant in Vancouver, given the ready availability of fresh fish, but was nevertheless wowed by Tsunami Sushi on Robson Street.
Especially enjoyable is the kaiten sushi style of dining, where customers choose from plates of sushi passing by on a conveyor belt.

What a fascinating idea for a Japanese Sushi restaurant! It combines the Japanese skill with technology and innovation with their skill with food. Thanks for that review. M.A.
I’ve heard good things about Vancouver sushi – will definitely check Tsunami Sushi out next time I’m in town. Thanks for the great review!
