Covering 1000 acres, Vancouver's Stanley Park is more than 10% larger than Manhattan's Central Park. Like the Big Apple green spot, Stanley Park is a downtown sanctuary that offers city dwellers and visitors a multitude of outdoor activities.

The park juts out into the water from downtown Vancouver; visitors can walk its 5.5 mile (8.9 km) seawall perimeter in about 2 hours or bike or blade it in a bit over an hour. The interior is host to incredible flora and fauna, water parks and the popular Vancouver Aquarium. Stanley Park is everything a public park should be and more.
